Maybe 15 yd shot. We had a crazy hunt this morning. Long story short, we had crawled out into this field because we thought this bird was in a low spot in the field. Come to find out he hadnt follwed the two hens we were watching into the field. We heard something coming out of the woods behind us so we both sun around and got ready. Here we sit out in the wide open and this guy comes all the way to the woodline. BOOM! Bang flop. Blew the bottom of his beak off. The Fire Sights I put on for this season are awesome as well as the Limbsaver pad and Win #6's I changed to. 22.5 lbs, 10 in beard, 1 in spurs.
