Its been a long year but after being the caller for a couple birds and not getting to hunt near as much this year because of my new baby girl I put one down. Had the bird work in two different times only to get spooked by coyotes both times. He never left the field just went to the other side of the field and stayed there with his two hens. I was in a timetable so me and the ole man put the old sneak on him. Crawled within 20 yrds. stood up and it was over. Not the way that I generally like to kill'em but I believe I am about as proud of this bird as any. Sneakin with my pops was fun.
