I finally get to go after some birds this weekend. Will be hunting TN this weekend, OH next week and KY next weekend. First time chasing birds in 5 years.Can't wait to get back in the woods !

Thanks WG ! I hope so. TN birds are going to be the toughest for me. I'll be hunting public land here and in OH and private farms in KY. I'll just be glad to get back in the woods. Hopefully I'll be on a lease before deer season gets here !

The ones ive been hunting have been tough. If you dont kill them within the first couple of hours after daylight they are nearly impossible to kill. After they get their strutting out of the way they just shut up and disapear. I dont know what happens to them but it dont keep me from chasing them.feathersandfur2214 said:

Well, no TN birds this weekend. Had some working pretty good but no luck. OH not looking good for this week anyway,work is messing up my plans. Hopefully KY will work out this weekend !Really trying to get the young one a bird ! I could care less whether I get one ! He's trying hard and wanting to get in to the whole hunting thing ! Maybe we can get him a bird and get him fired up about hunting !
