Finally got the 3-D bow set up . Took forever to get my Tiny draw length cams .
Lol Got the Energy Wave threads on and finished tuning today . Now it's time to get ready for Ft. Benning . Took so long to get it ready , I'm not going to Florida .

Prime Impact 26" draw , 63 lbs , Victory x killers , 282 FPS .

That's the beauty of the Florida shoot man...nobody's really "ready". I've determined its more of an excuse to get away from the "Arctic Vortex" and head to warmer climates to shoot. Scores are normally way lower than in the other shoots. I ain't even got a sight tape done for my bow but I'm still going :) Gonna try a local shoot this weekend and set a loose tape up before I go and then just wing it.

I haven't set a tape either, I still have to build some more x killers . When are you leaving to go down crow ?

Driving down Friday. I'm excited, but something tells me that I wont be bringing a plaque and check back home with me this go around. I keep telling myself "its just 10 more yards" lol

I had my bow narrowed down to the Moxie to take down there but yesterday I put the arrow rest on the CPXL that I had been shooting on the Impact. It has a wide blade on it. For whatever reason...it made a big difference on the CPXL and grouping arrows. So much of a difference that I'm really torn between the CPXL and Moxie now. Right now the CPXL is getting the ride to Florida, BUT...if I do end up doing good, Strother is paying contingency money for podium finishing this yr, whereas BowTech does not.

Last yr there was a light frost of the mornings and then it would get up to around 80 by the evening. The bad news is...they are saying it snowed last night in the upper part of Florida. LOL So it might not be as warm this yr and might not can escape the cold. Weather outlook is saying in the 60s though and I will welcome that after being sub 20s for the last little bit.

We just got back from our first 3D shoot of the yr. And lemme tell ya..it was cold. 30 degrees and a strong wind to boot. We both stunk it up. My Open C debut wasnt so grand but I didn't expect much from not shooting a whole lot and just hastily putting a sight tape together. I shot a 200 but some of my marks were off; hit everything high. I wore some center IBO rings out though LOL. Maybe will get a decent day between now and Friday in which I can fine tune the yardage and maybe have a shot at hitting some 12s in Florida.
