Anyone have pics of their firs bow kills? Can add more detail, pics, and story. I got a great buck that was also my first bow kill and first bow season. I shot this buck 12 years ago with a Golden Eagle Sparrowhawk set somewhere around 45-50lb. Heavy alumn. easton arrow and I think Satellite broadheads from wal-mart. I had the brass pin sights that liiked like pencils sticking out. I hunted behind my house and this day I was by myself. I had a new Warren and Sweet stand and I packed it down to the back of the property and set it up on a trail. The tree had a knot so I was only able to get about 8ft up. I get set up and 4 deer come across the creek and I knew 2 were bucks. Just so happened the 12pt walked out first and I launched a super heavy slow easton his way. Instantly the buck hit the ground, spine shot and less than 10 yards. I was 14 when I took this buck and it has led me to a lifetime love of the outdoors. Some thing you never will forget. Bow season cant get here fast enough.
