First Gobble

Due to driving to Mississippi to fish in my free time I haven been to woods yet and can't go this week. What time have they been gobbling in mornings. I was guessing bout 6:40. Just checking thanks

I leave for work about 6:25 every morning and sit on my back porch and have not heard any. I know of 7 or 8 gobblers back there just have not heard them yet.

I usually hear my first gobble on opening morning when I step out of my camper and let the door slam behind me. One morning I didn't realize it was as late as it was and stepped outside to wiz and when the door slammed shut shoked one to gobble, grabbed my gun and off through the woods I go in flip flops, boxers and t-shirt. didn't get that bird but did have some explaining to do when I didn't beat a couple of the other guys back to camp, would have been a lot easier on me if I would have gotten that one.

6.40 is to late my son shot his at 6.25 saturdaymorn strutting into the decoy in the foodplot. they fired up about 6-6.05 sat morning in upper mid tn
