Pricey but I really like that design with the built in face mask. I've thought of that idea a time or two while hunting as I usually use a neck gaiter instead of a mask. I just like being able to drop it up and down off my face, I cannot stand a face mask that covers my head for some reason.
I wonder what that face mask material is?

Looks like a neat idea but did seem kinda high but will wait till their Black Friday sale and hopefully get a good deal on it.

I have an older Rocky Stratum long sleeve shirt with a built in mask. Love it. I wear it under a heavier hoodie just to use the mask. It was like $30. Maybe you can find another brand to save some money.

Seems like they copied the Sitka design. Curious how these will hold up. The FL stuff I had, I wasn't impressed with. Quality wasn't commensurate with the price. Sold it for Sitka

I've had the opposite experience personally but just may be me.

I had no clue a couple other companies already had this design, I only knew about the FL one because I got a email from them. Shows you how much I pay attention.

I normally don't have a problem spending money on quality gear, FL merino has outperformed my other brand by a long shot (red ram mainly).
Upon further reading the description of the new hoody it's not a wool product, which is a turn off for me. I'll stick with my wool neck gaiter for now.

Had bibs, jacket, couple vests. Had lots of seam issues after VERY light use. Logos came off everything after a handful of washes (no dryer). Was disappointing for the price

Yeah interesting. I have or have had almost their entire line. Still have most of it use all through deer and turkey and never had any of those same issue.

Had some base layers get holes in them and they just replaced them for free. All the rest has been pretty durable. Going on 4 full seasons on some of it.

Got mine in today to test out.

Overall I like the fit and feel better then the Klamath version they had prior. Its more of a smooth DWR finish on it vs the older grid lock feel. It also seems to fit more natural all around and the arms are not crazy long like on that piece.

The kangaroo pocket is AWESOME, it has zippers on both ends to close which is great and fleece lined one side and mesh on the side that goes to your stomach.

Inside is all fleece lined with a mid weight fleece, nongrid lock, style and seems pretty warm for a cool weather outer piece

Face mask is all light weight elastic mesh style and it is long enough on the bottom to cover your chest if you have the QT zip part fully open.

One con I have is the face mask doesnt stay on your face great if you dont have the hood on or partially on which reduces some of its use on turkey hunting.

Overall I really like it and like it a lot more then the Klamath personally. This one I will actually use a good bit on cool mornings instead of a jacket and not just an insulation piece under my jackets.

feel free to ask me any question you want or for pics, be happy to answer them. FYI I am 6'3 165lbs athletic build and the large fit me really well.
