My buddy Bill and I were going to go hunting yesterday but he couldn't get away, but he told me we could go today.
We were walking in and trying to get to where I knew there was a good chance for us to walk in to some birds and Bill said we were going to go around them just in case.
On the way to them we ran into another strutter and decided to move on him.
On our way to move to him I spotted another longbeard or two in another field.
I got Bill's attention and he saw them and told me where to set up.
I got set up while he got the video camera ready.
Then he set up and began to call.
He started softly then he called really fast then he got real raspy with it and that is when they couldn't take anymore.
They started hammering and coming right in.
10 1/2" beard and 1" spurs.
Haven't weighed him yet but he is HEAVY.
