Got there late this morning and immediately heard my problem jakes gobbling so I decided I was gonna weed one out so I went around and got set up in site of them and hit the slate call, we'll they gobbled but one sounded deeper and off to the left of them so I hit it again and a for sure Tom sounded off and it was closer, I called one more time and it gobbled real close and then I saw it coming into the field. It came out in strut but then here came the jakes so the Tom came trotting at me and I shot it at 25 yards on the trot, 8.5" beard, 20.1 pounds and 3/4 " spurs

how many jakes did you say there were? You can kill one or two and still have several 2 year olds next year
