I've had my Morrell Yellow jacket for three weeks and had my first pass through. The arrow did not go all the way through, but it went through to point where the fletching was stuck in the bag. When I pulled the arrow, it tore off one of the vanes . I reversed the arrow out of the bag which may have caused the problem of the fletching coming off. Oh well, I guess this is part of the deal. I've improved in accuracy to where I hit the targets on the bag most times and I guess I wore a section out.

Normal wear . Shoot at different spots , then turn the target around and shoot at the backside spots .

Thanks...that is what I have been doing. I will maybe get some stickers and shoot at them to change some impact points.

I picked up a slightly used Block 4x4 from my brother in law. I bet he didn't put 100 shots into it and is trying to sell off all his bow stuff to get a new coon dog. If you guys are interested in a SWEET Mathews Drenalin package fully loaded, bow, sight, rest, quiver, arrows and all...give me a shout and I can hook you up with a deal and a half for a brand new bow.

But I got the 4x4 for $40. In shooting it, it at least stops arrows better than the original Block I had (I had a pass through on the portable Block in the first day) But they ain't as easy to pull out as they let on, on the TV. I too can see this one not lasting a long time of continuous shooting though.

I haven't really considered a layered foam target for general field point use. I did consider getting a Rinehart 18-1 when I first got my bow, but got the bag style and couldn't be happier. I need to shoot at some diferent spots to extend the life of the bag target. I have played golf several times for 39.99, so if I get a couple of pass throughs in my bag target after a month, I still have got alot of use out of it.

i got the original block last april when i got my newest bow. i probably put about 1000 shots thru it, and no pass thrus with field points. about 40 broadhead shots, still no passthru but they will eat that block up.

it would have been great to shoot broadheads at the top or bottom of the block, but some genius put press wood in there.

i think im going to try the king target for broadheads.

Blocks are very dependable.

And expensive...I plan on going the bag route most of the year and buying a Red Head foam target for some limited broadhead practice.
