I missed a spike opening day of muzzleloader. I just got into my stand around 7:05, was putting my armguard on, and there he is 15 yards away! It was crazy foggy that morning. I am behind the tree in my treesaddle and made a move for my bow. He looks right up and me and we play peek a boo for a couple minutes on and off. I finally get a shot at him, but I didn't compensate for the fact that he was jumpy and he ducked right under the arrow. It was great getting my first shot...
