Killed this ~40 pound boar (or piglett) Friday afternoon in South Alabama. Smoked it over pecan all day Sunday spiced in salt, pepper, and Crab Boil. I think it turned out great.

Bet that was good.
It was. I brought the rest of it to work today and 4 people tried wild game for the first time. They all liked it and said it just tasted like pork.

How was the fat content? I've never had a chance to try wild boar.
Only slightly leaner than what you get at Kroger.
