Is it just me or do we dads get more excited about taking our kids afield than they do? On less sleep to boot?

Well...we didn't make it in before fly down but we did see plenty of birds. Jumped several hens. Would have been a good hunt this fall. He got to see a gobbler in full strut from about 300 yards and a hen at about 12 feet. I won't get to take him for another two weeks but I do believe that I will give it a whirl again next weekend.
