Do you think it is worth me paying three dollars an arrow to be flethed or should I just buy the material and attempt to fletch them myself? I need about two dozen flethed. I am going from all straight arrows to all 4 deg right helical.

Save yourself a lot of money in the long run & buy a Bitzenburger and do your own fletching work. It's one of the best purchases I've made in archery.

I have owned a Bitzenburger for over 20 years now . They are a great fletching jig , well worth the investment . Fletching arrows is a great way to add a personal touch to your arrows too.

+2 for the bitz. and you can play with so many variations with your arrow without having to go to the pro-shop and wait. Fletching arrows takes just as much patience and cocnetration as shooting does. I love doing it.

I love building arrows. I also like tying flies. Both help me clear my head of whatever stresses I have from work and/or family and relax. My wife calls it arts and crafts for men. :D

So let me get this straight. If I am going to fletch my own arrows and want a right helical fletch, all I need is the Bitzenburger jig and the right clamps for the right helical set? Do I need the straight clamps if I am only flething right helical? Thanks
