I just fletched some arrows with 2" Blazers and noticed that the one tiger stripe vane that I used on each arrow is not adhered to the shaft along one side. The other two vanes on each arrow look fine. I am using a Bitz Jig with a slight offset and right helical, using Pine Ridge glue. The tiger stripe vanes have sort of a channel along the bottom of the vane that the solid color vanes do not have, dont know if this is causing the problem. Has anyone had any trouble with adhesion using Blazers?

Blazers used to stick great when they first came out..then they messed with the base of the vane and won't stick good for nothing... I won't use them anymore...Take a look at the Duravane Fusion vanes..AWESOME vane and sticks GREAT.

wrong button!! try this again a good vane but dont stick worth a flip anymor and there high profile hits your cable, well on most bows iv shoot they do but try the predators ull like um

I run mine through a whisker biscuit and I have them fletched with as much helical as I can get. I havn't had a problem. I actually think the fusion is just a smidge shorter than the blazer, but not by much.

I refletched my arrows yesterday with Duravane Fusions.
They seem to have much better adhesion than Blazers. I shot them today, no problems they fly great and stay on the shaft unlike the Blazers I was shooting. I here that Bohning has solved there problem with Blazers but after the terrible batch I had I just didnt want to take a chance on them. Believe I will stay with the Fusions. Thanks to all for your advice!

Glad you like them!

I have shot Blazers for years and have never had one come unglued prematurely (except the ones that went through the excelsior bales at the Hendersonville range, and only a few of them). But I don't shoot the Tiger Stripe models. Maybe they are different.
