I have always shot with my odd color fletching down...

Shot with 2 friends today and they always point theirs up! Am I doing it wrong or is it just the point to always be consistent? Oh yeah, I'm shooting Easton Carbon arrows with a whisker biscuit. The whisker biscuit has some black "whiskers" at the bottom that my odd color fletching always passes through..I just wasnt sure if this is right after I thinking about it.

if you're shooting a whisker biscuit then no it doesn't matter. The reason the chocolate chip cookie vane is normally down is when everyone was shooting the arrow rests that were two prongs and spring loaded i.e. the tm hunter, the the vane was down. The whisker biscuit, and the drop away rest has changed it a little. So no you're not doing nothing wrong.

I would shoot chocolate chip cookie vane up with the whisker biscuit. The black whiskers you are referring to are stiffer to support the arrow. You will probably get more fps by not shooting through the black whiskers..

Bigorange is correct. I have also seen a difference on paper far as odd up vs. down on WB, odd down being the one with a slight tear when odd up shooting bullet holes.
