Flex Test!! WOW

So I just recently heard about �flex testing� carbon arrows. All the manufactures recommend doing it. I started doing it to all my arrows a few weeks ago. Well yesterday I was testing my arrows before I shot. I heard a small cracking sound on one of them, I turned it and flexed it again��POW it snapped!! :eek: I am defiantly a believer. I will never shoot again without testing my arrows. Just another great thing I learned on this site.
 
I bought a box of gold tips from bass pro about two weeks ago and after reading on here I thought I would flex test them. Took the second arrow out of the pack and gave it one flex and snap!

Yep. When you have one blow up on you, or if you see one blow up, it will get you to doing it. I saw it happen to other people and it made me aware for a little while then I grew lukewarm to it. Then one day it happened to me and now it's the first thing I do. And I've found that a lot of times you wont hear anything when you flex them but you can see the cracks open up.
 
I just read on another archery forum where some guy just had a carbon arrow blow up while shooting. Apparently he has a hole in his hand and his hunting season could be over before it got started.

This is just something that gives me the creaps and I am checking mine every time I shoot now.
 
tested mine last night and got rid of 2, not really cracking but had some knicks and blemishes I dont care to take a chance on.
Of course now this means I officially need all new arrows :)
