I am shooting FMJ's for the first time this year. Thought they would be the cats meow and for awhile they were. They fly great are tough as nails and penetrate outstanding. However, I have discovered they can bend and after this year, or once these are done Im done with them.
I really like them and am planning on shooting the original axis next year. I got away from arrows that can bend when I left alluminums and don't plan on going back. Its just one more thing that can go wrong.
Really great flying, easy tuning, deep penetrating, easy to fletch arrow...but the worrying about it being bent just isn't worth it to me.
That being said I've killed 5 so far dead as a hammer and had pass thrus on 4 of 5 only shooting 60#
