I'll be hunting in stewart co. this year on a timber lease. Hrdwood bottoms, pine stands, cut overs, and several small food plots leftover from deer season.

What do yall predict the turkes to be feeding on once the season opens, and how will they change their feed patterns later on as it gets warmer?

My guess is they will use all of them through out the spring.
I would bet that the hens will nest around the cut overs, so later in the season you may find the gobblers fairly close to them.
I would love to get in on a lease like that, I wouldn't really be interested in deer, just mainly turkeys.
Would you mind PMing me some info on who to contact.

I wouldn't be concentrating on the food sources, unless you have some new sprouts coming up in freshly plowed fields. Following the hens, look for nesting sites as season gets later, and look where they've been dusting in the roads
