I was quite surprised that Saban and Fisher agreed to this game. It should be a good game,I hope.
By playing so early it still gives Bama a chance to climb back in the playoff race.

Get your toughest game of the season out of the way so the rest seem like a chip shot ?

Also the thought that u might catch your opponent unprepared and not on their A Game . Same could be said for the other side . Both sides thinking they can out prepare the other side .

Today's Michigan Florida game has been a good example .

Both teams are a power house but clearly neither team are anywhere near their peak and neither team seems to be better prepared than the other .

MIchican is just getting to take advantage of turnovers .

Now flip the switch and one of these teams came with their crap together and the other team did not ??? Could be a much different game IMHO
