I will be the first to admit I have terrible hearing. Until this year it was a miracle if I heard a turkey gobbling while in the woods, especially once the birds hit the ground. Made a purchase of the Primos Boost Quad Analog hearing muffs, and it made a mega difference. It feels awesome to finally hear the birds loud and clear. I highly recommend these to anyone who has an issue with hearing the birds gobble.

Can you tell which direction the gobbles are coming from? I use a walkers game ear and I can hear great but cannot tell which direction it is coming from.

Welcome to my world, I'm deaf in one ear. Hunted turkey's over 15 years and have never killed one without the help of others that can hear and know the direction of tithe gobble

on the roost I have no trouble knowing the direction. Once on the ground I can tell unless im in a bottom or bowl and I a little difficulty with the direction.

I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until this past Monday. I'd keep saying the gobbles were coming from the right and the two that were with me would correct me and let me know they were coming from the left. I couldn't believe it. My hearing is greatly diminished in my left ear, so it makes sense, but I've never seen such a blatant display of just how bad it's gotten. Of course, the two I was with could've been pranking me, but I doubt it.

I have no idea how to remedy this.

Regardless, I killed my first bird of the season that morning.

Deaf in my left ear and love turkey hunting but never kill them because I have no idea where they are either. Glad it's not just me
