I had followed a thread on another forum about the chairs. It was about carrying them. It can be some difficult while trying to run and gun. I had put a gun sling on mine which was better than the cheap sling that came on it.
One poster said he used the backpack straps from an old Summit Treestand.
I asked him for pictures and we sent a few PM's back and forth.
I happened to have an extra set of the straps laying around.

I done as he suggested and used the screw on the back to attach the straps to the chair.
I also found some webbing straps with a buckle on it to hold the chair in the carrying position and removed the noisy Velcro.
This will be much easier to transport while running the ridge tops this year. I didn't let it slow me down last year but it will be like its part of my vest this year. With the chair being short it allows the straps to adjust out very long which clears my vest no problem.
I appreciate the tip from the gentleman so I thought I would share with anyone who may benefit as well.
Here is the finished product.

I've been thinking of easier ways to carry. This will be nice. I'm gonna give it a try

My only complaints about these gobbler loungers has been their weight, and no matter how you improvise a carrying system, not as quick to "sit down" in them as just a cushion or nothing. But their "comfort" has made them worth carrying much of the time.

For the life of me, I don't understand how come they've not yet come out with a "new & improved" lightweight aluminum version.

I started using one last yr. Dad laughed at me until he finally sat in it. Next time he went with me, he had one. Im like the rest, my strap broke and never replaced it and was actually wondering about what I was planning on doing for it. Thanks for the idea.
