i was checking my camera last week and ran into a buck kicking in a ditch all bloody i killed it and but my camera on it and had nothing but bobcats on it for a week then coyotes and skunks and birds will those preditors kill all my deer and move on im new at hunting so im just worried

Honestly I would bet money they didn't kill it darlin. Unless it is a fawn its rare that a deer is taken by the predators we have here. Yes a sick animal etc will occasional go down due to predation but I am willing to put 100 dollars on that buck being hit by a car if it was in the ditch. Once injured they will smell the bed and finish it off etc. Don't worry so much about predators taking out your deer herd. Just manage your herd well and take out your predators when you can. Sounds like you need to be out calling them cats and yotes in and having fun!

There is no telling what might have happened but yotes can take down a deer!? Now did yotes get that one, who knows? I just saw a trail cam pic of a yote latched on to the butt of a buck and was killing it! I have seen yotes kill nice bucks so shoot any yote you see! Were I hunt I think the doe population is down really low because of the yote problem we have!! We are infested with them!!

that's just part of nature. we have a huge population of coyotes and yeah they will get some mostly fawns, but occasionally a pack will take down one or 2. predator hunting is alot of fun and it's a good way to pass time from season to season. you can kill coyotes year round but i think cat season ends in 2 weeks
