Found a Gobbler.

2 properties over from where im allowed to hunt.....went and asked the landowner and was told no hunting allowed then as i was leaving she wrote down my plate number.....anyone know why would she do that kinda made me feel like a criminal

More than likely in case she sees a truck parked there and she knows she told you know. Plate number may be or her verification. I know a guy that would ask for permission say this afternoon and get a firm no. He would be parked there come daylight the very next day. I am not saying you would do this at all. Just saying what I have seen before.

Because of how hunters(poachers really) are. There just arent that many good guys out there that wont poach. Turkey season seems to be the worst for trespassing. Owning land with turkeys on it is a battle at times. Now she has your info in case you mess with her place, not that you would specifically, but alot of people will. Or she has a lead now in case a barn, shed, field, etc burns down, thats not uncommon in my area.
