Nice.
Not much to go by there, but I swear, that buck looks like he might be only 3 1/2.
That would be some exceptionally good genetics he has, assuming poor soil, not the best habitat.

Man he's awesome! I love those big inward arching racks and he looks like hell have chocolate horns to boot! What was your trail cam set up on? Terrain feature, native browse, or just a trail?

Camera is set up in a oak ridge with a main trail running around the edge of the ridge. They are coming from a small thicket to this oak ridge I took pictures of 7 different bucks with this being the biggest and a hand full of doe

I wish I could hunt there on the velvet hunt my understanding is the velvet hunt is private land only this is in the Cherokee national forest so I cant hunt here till September 21
