First hunt of the TN season. Killed at 9:30 this morning. 9.25" beard and 1" spurs.

Congrats, but when did the season open for you? I thought it was the same opening statewide. Not judging, just asking.

Thinking the same thing.
 
There are a few wma that opened early due to wrong dates in the reg books. I assume he is on one. AEDC has been open for over a week actually.

are they just wrong dates or are they moving some of the hunts back a week? I was hoping it will happen again next year, I like the early start except for all the hunters that showed up on Saturday

They just messed up printing them and had to honor them is all. Surprised it didn't get on here sooner. Amazing how folks can keep a secret when it comes to hunting.

Haha true Ren. I've only lived here about two months. I'm still learning the area to avoid driving 2 hours to Crossville to hunt my family's property.

Just to be clear it wasn't suppose to be 2 weeks ago. They messed the dates up and had to honor them so opening weekend was actually last weekend on AEDC. Most folks just didn't know
