Found out he didn't make it!!

I found out this deer made it through deer season, but got hit by a car. It felt like someone ripped my heart out of my chest when the guy told me!

I didn't see the deer dead, but I haven't seen him in a while. I'm keeping my eye out just in case.

I hope the guy is wrong/fibbing, but he seemed to be a straight up guy. This deer was a neighborhood deer along with another 7 and another 10. I never saw the other smaller 10, but a couple of other people I know in the neighborhood saw him, and he is supposedly dead as well. City workers supposedly found the deer dead in a creek not far off a major Hwy. I'm hoping the 7 pt. will make it to next year, so I can have a crack at him. He was a good deer this year, but I was strictly going after the 10 up above.
