Seriously I do t even know what to say. That's better then some of my 12g shots AND that was straight bead. Carlsons 575 choke!! And I have 7 boxes of this lot# haha

Also that's about the 8th total shell I've even shot on it and only the 3rd on the choke.

I've personally never seen a non TSS combo shoot that high a count with those shells. I mean if I could get 180 using the heavyweights out of my 12 I'd sell all the shells I had and load up on them!

They don't make a 20gauge longbeard FYI. Wish they did though. In a 20 gauge is rather shoot heavyweight honestly. Less pellets but that's a lot of trauma going down range

REN, how is the recoil from that load?

I have a little 20 gauge SxS that tips the scales a little over 5# and that gun flat rocks me with 1 1/4 oz Magblends. Franchi lists the wieght for the affinity at around 5.5# I think??? It will be my next 20 of choice.

Hey ren is that pattern repeatable. How any can it string in a row? Out of my 1187 20 gauge with the Truglo ssx choke and Fed heavyweight #7 from 40 yds I had the following pellet counts today

155
90
88
81
72

Not too pleased.

These shots out of my 1187 were all on a dirty gun - prob 50 game loads through it in total last time out. Only a bore snake run through after shooting last time. Today ran about 10 game loads through before shooting the heavyweight #7. Did run the bore snake through 1 time during the heavyweight shots. I cleaned the barrel good just a few minutes ago and will get back out and shoot 3-4 more shots next weekend (weather permitting).
