Fried pound cake

Slice pound cake 1" - 1-1/2" thick. Melt butter in pan, just like you're making a grilled cheese sandwich. Brown each side of the slice of pound cake, put a spoon of ice cream on it & enjoy.

An easy & excellent desert.

Or spread a little raspberry jam over the slice after it's cooked then top it with ice cream. Or spread Nutella on it with no ice cream.

It can be done with store bought pound cake because the extra butter makes it taste so much better!
