Really cool. I remember that he was discussed as being a higher draft pick, but teams were worried about his commitment to football. I'm sure that he made the right decision
What a great story. I remember his senior year he got some special dispensation from the NCAA so he could finish his Rhodes interview one Saturday morning, then take a private jet and still make one of his games.
It's good to see his doing so well. In the long run he'll be better off both financially and quality-of-life wise as a neurosurgeon than if he'd stayed in the NFL.
