Front fishing seat…ulterra trolling motor..

Anyone have issue with the ulterra, terrarova trolling motor coming back and hitting front fishing seat while stowing Mine does. Luckily the g3 has 3 seat holes across the front so i can offset the seat, but fixing to add livescope and need to be in the middle. Guess i could take off big seat and add a millennium or bicycle style seat- just wanting to see if there is an easier fix

If it is an Ulterra, just use the power trim to raise and deploy while you are moving spot to spot. Works well on my fishing toon and is simple.

I can't believe it's never occurred to me to simply trim it up...

What length shaft is it,could vut the shaft if its to long.They make offset seat posts too if you have threaded bases in your boat.
