Hunted 9 times so far this year on three different places, missed one opening weekend, haven't heard a gobble or seen a tom in the last seven times out. Guess I'll get up again tomorrow.

Hunting public land and the pressure seems to have them shut down, basically deer hunting at this point and waiting for one to walk by.

Hey just be glad you are getting to hunt. I have been 4 times since season opened.

Suck it up, it's part of turkey hunting this past week was brutal here as well. The birds are henned up really bad and not gobbling hardly at all on the ground.

Take a week off to get your mind right and start back fresh

Since you're in Rutherford county I assume you're hunting Priest. It gets tons of pressure and I've been on it a few afternoons myself. Seen hens but haven't seen or heard a gobbler.
