Subject: Mature Strutter Decoys
Location: Trousdale Co.(Land of many Birds)
Set up: Basically waiting for birds to come by where they were patterned.
We set up in this old broke down barn and the birds were funneling through beside this barn, when we arrived there was birds in the distance. Got set up and put B-Mobile out in front of us, story short-seen strutter in the distance and called couldnt hear him gobble but seen him gobble in the binos, the hen was a long piece in front of him comes down flys over the fence and comes right up the the decoys and looks around them and feeds around em, Strutter closes the distance coming in full strut head white the whole shooting match. Get to the fence and starts pacing back and forth down the fence, hen still over it, I'm filming this hunt and you can see within about 5 minutes of footage his head turns red within seconds and comes outa strut and simply starts to walk off, our Juvy had to then take a shot and missed him through the fence with a 20 ga. thats why most of the time I use a hen decoy if I use one at all, what can I say we shoulda had a Jake decoy ole B-Mobile stood tall and changed the strutters mind
I hated it for Daniel I wanted to pause the hunt and go out and take the B-Mobile down and the resume and blow that jokers head off :grin:

Let me clear up and say the funny part is not about lil Daniel missing I would never wish that upon anyone, he smoked a dandy last year! Matter of fact thats the BARN!
