For whatever reason I was watching youtube the other day and happened upon a video of someone throwing a cast net.
The thought hit me, if a man could throw one of those real good he could wipe a bream bed clean OUT with one of those. :rotf:

Perhaps, but you would also catch some big spiders, too :tu:

I threw a 12 footer 3-4 days per week when I lived in Florida. Catching bait was the most important part of a day/evening of fishing.

I see the nets people throw here in TN. You wouldn't catch a single baitfish in Florida with the nets folks use here.

Used to throw a 12 calusa back in Charleston but use an 8' now, getting old sucks.
And yes bait is critical.
