Fury vs Wilder 3

I did not watch it, but read it was as worthy of an ending to a trilogy, as any in the history of boxing. Sounds like I missed a good'un that went back and forth and kept viewers on their toes. Hard for Wilder to weather the storm of a stiff right hand to the temple in the 11th with his lungs and legs gassed, holding on by a string. At 277 pounds, Fury is legit, no doubt about it.

Lots of respect for both fighters. Glad I decided to stay up and watch it. Fury went down twice in the 4th and I thought it was going to be a very different ending. Unofficial judge scored that round 10-7. I haven't watched a whole lot of boxing since I was a teenager but I don't ever recall seeing less than an 8 in a scorecard for one round. Bottom line is Fury is the greatest without a doubt (at this time)

Other than the 4th rd, it was very similar to the 2nd fight. Fury didn't have his best night (he is normally much more elusive) but it was still good enough to beat a much-improved Wilder. Wilder got away from the body shots and fell into the trap of trying to brawl. He gassed out and got picked apart by the better fighter. Fury is an unbelievable athlete for a man his size. Glad to see him finish Wilder yet again.

Dangit. I wish I would have bought it. I love boxing, but it seems 95% of the time the fights aren't worth the cost of PPV.
