Even with the ACC Network, I question the ACC's sustainability. I forget when the SEC's $300M deal with ESPN goes into effect and you leave CBS, but that will probably push you into the top. Fox pays the Big Ten $250M.

But, it begs the question. How do you guys feel about being wholly owned by the Walt Disney Company?
 
The NCAA and some conferences had "cancellation insurance policies" for events that were cancelled due to covid such as the 2020 NCAA basketball tourney.

"Last year's tournament should have produced approximately $800 million in revenue, $600 million of which would have been distributed via the NCAA's revenue distribution plan. Unfortunately, the NCAA's insurance policy only covered $270 million of the lost revenue, resulting in only $225 million being distributed....

...The $800 million the men's basketball tournament produces is 72% of the association's total annual revenue. It's important to note the College Football Playoff is a separate entity, so its revenue is not part of the NCAA....

...For institutions in the Power Five, distributions from the NCAA account for a lower percentage of total revenue than in the mid-majors due to the television contracts those conferences each has with one or more major networks. Those television contracts are estimated to get approximately 80% of their value from football....


Football stadium attendance was probably down due to covid policies.
