ADVANCED Instictive Shooting for Bowhunters. Just got through reading it a week ago and really enjoyed it. It's amazing how wrapped up I can get in chasing down some little problem with my shooting and let the basics drop out. Even though the title of this book is ADVANCED shooting, it's a very good and well organized review of the basics.
He kind of beats the idea of push/pull throughout the entire shot to death, it's for a good reason. I had stopped doing that for some reason and had developed release problems with fishtailing arrows. Now that I just think about pushing my straight bow arm towards the target the whole time, my arrows are flying straight as can be and I don't even think about the release.
Tons of other good info in the book too, and I think it's much easier to read and use than his first Instinctive Shooting book. I never read his Instinctive Shooting II so I don't know how that one compares. This new one stands on its own though and you don't need to read the others before starting this one. Very good book for beginners or those of us who just picked up bad habits over the years.
