Hi Folks,

Need help on this sight. Does anyone use one and what do you think about the sight? I'm using a Trophy Ridge V-Drive now and before I spend another $200.00 on a new sight I need honest input.
Thanks in advance.

I have the G5 ME sight and like it but it is just to compicated. I am going with a extreme 3 pin sight this year. They are a good sight. If you want a ME which is what the XR replaced I will sell it for a the price of a extreme.

JThuntsalot,

What is the difference in the ME and XR?
I have an Extreme 3 pin (the old style) square.
My wife uses a 3 pin Extreme.

I believe the XR is the sight tha has the 4th pin that can be dialed in for different ranges. I havent put my hands on one yet, but will when I start work back at BPS in March (in IN). It is tops on my list for my next hunting bow. If I dont like it I will pull the spott hogg off of my parker. Looks good in theory but well see how durable it is.

Does it have .19 pins?

I just got back from the local Archery Shop and looked at the G5 XR (3 fixed pins and the 4th pin dials. It also is in .19pins. It also comes with a light for pins.Price is $189.00.) Looks like this will be my new sight.

The ME also has the 3 pins with the fourth pin being a floating pin. You sight it in with the fourth pin at 50 yards then sight your other pins in. The ME is also lighted and very bright. The only difference I seen in the 2 was the dial for the 4th pin.

Lighting your fiber optics is always a good ideas for low light conditions. Every sight I have has a light. It's paid off on a number of times.
