Game day spread

I'm looking forward to this afternoon just as much for the food and family as I am the games. My family likes "football parties", but not so much the football part

Our plans:
Smoked chicken thighs
Game day cheese dip (with rotel, hot sausage, and taco meat)
Veggie tray
The first apple spice cake of the year
Bagel pizzas
Venison summer sausage, Gouda cheese, and crackers
Mexican cokes
Maybe a few other things


What are your plans?

I'm on call so no food unfortunately. Maybe a sammich. Just hoping a call don't come in


On second thought….I think I'm ordering pizza!

My family can't watch games together so we've never done the food thing for games. But, I like the idea.

My plan is to head to Rhea county and find where this football party is at. I've got a bunch of wild 14-15 year boys up at the house for my son's birthday. They all stayed last night and we camped out and they have been riding the atvs, dirtbikes, and fishing on the pond all day so hopefully this evening I can watch a game.

I'm going to dad's to watch the UT game with family. His cooking but I'm not sure what.My sister said she would bring homemade jalapeño poppers.

Besides that, I don't really see anything interesting until the 21UNC vs. SC tonight, and I'll watch that kicked back at the house in the lazy boy.

We're doing some ham and cheese sliders, poor man's burnt ends (with hot dogs), and queso dip.

7 layer dip
Sushi from a local place that my daughter loves
Bourbon(4-Roses when Bama kicks off) and homebrew beer

I'll be working the grill during the Tennessee game but settled onto the couch for the Auburn and Alabama games.

We did wings with dry rub, dip, chips and mountain honey crisp apples with caramel. Also spicy chez mix.
