Anyone else hearing Gurley may be banged up, possibly a hamstring?

He only had 5 rushes Saturday, and granted, you didn't need him, but it seems odd for someone that was being touted for the Heisman.

Hadn't heard that but Tennessee can use all the help they can get!The Vols usually play Georiga tough anyway!!

I heard he was so scared of AJ Johnson that he wasn't gonna play. If he did play, it might be his last game.

They've got 3 more hosses right behind that won't miss a beat if he is out.

They are stout but none in his category. It may actually be better for the Vols if he does play, but isn't 100%.

The running game this weekend will test UT. Probably one of the best running games they will see this season besides Bama.

Bama had 288 yds on 49 carries against W Va, whereas OK had 301 yds on 46 carries.

OK had 146 yds on 34 carries against the Vols.

TN will load the box and dare them to throw. If we can keep them under 200 yards rushing, I like our chances.

So did Custer... :D

Richt said that there is no problem whatsoever with Gurley. He had over 9 yards/carry and the DAWGS were up by 21 when they pulled him. He will be just fine for Saturday.

We also should have Chubb back full force by then (he played sparingly against Troy due to a broken thumb/surgery), Michel is a very speedy scat back, Brendan Douglas is a bowling ball with legs ,and Isaiah McKenzie gets thrown in there with soem jet sweeps and reverses to shake things up, as well... I don't worry about our running game, I worry about our receiving corps (Mithchell, Scott-Wesley, and Rumph will all still be out), and even more than that, our OC playcalling. Stubborn Bobo is not real good at making in-game adjustments and attacking what the other team gives him (see the USCe game last week, where we were able to throw the ball just fine, but he continued to pound the ball up the gut), but when his gameplan works from the outset, Katy-bar the door!!!
