Yesterday morning I went up find birds heard four different gobblers at on location, only 2 of which were roosted together all seemed to head North up hollow after flying down. Im heading up midday to locate as many more as possible, will be easy if it rains as theyll all go to the nearest field. Then im heading to the location I went yesterday morning in the late afternoon to roost those birds...Hopin to double up opening day!!! no harm in wishful thinkin...haha Patterned the ole Moss Berg today, heres the pic below. Five pellets in the kill zone at 55... not to shabby, I doubt ill ever shoot that far still...

I would not hunt with that pattern at 45 or 55 yards, the 20 looks good but I would like to see a 30 or 35 yard pattern.

I've only ever shot one out to forty, forty five is probly my cutt off. My rule of thumb is 5+ pellets to the kill zone. The thing is at fifty five I jus so happen to get five it could've easily been one or two
