Well, since I had the DL lengthened so the bow actually fits me and since I got the sights re-dialed in I went a head and shortened up my release a bit. Just a 1/4" but it has seemed to make a world of difference. I've got my anchor point nailed down, started keeping both eyes open(same way I shoot a handgun) and I actually hit a 6" bull 2 out of 3 shots at 40 yrds today while I was out practicing. The "flyer" was to the left about 8" but was still the proper ok elevation wise so it would have probably been a kill shot all be it not a perfect one.
I've got all summer to work on getting dialed in so I think I'll be ready by Sept. bow season.
I'd really like to get together with some of ya'll in the Crossville area so we can shoot a bit, maybe help me tweak my form and bow a bit more and just get to know some of the other local bow hunters.
Anyway, I'll talk to ya'll later. Have a good one.
