Giants / Packers history in post season

I heard one of the commentators say something yesterday and I wish I had paid more attention to the actual numbers.

Basically he said that every time the Giants and Packers have met in the post season the winner of that game has gone on to win the superbowl that year.

I have searched online but can't find anything talking about it.

Pretty interesting and I hope it holds true this year. :D

Looks like it has only happened twice, before this year, recently and both times the Giants went on to win the SB.

The other times they played prior were back in the 60s, before the SB, and they played in the Championship game.

That would be rather remarkable if true.
