Giles Scouting Report 3/30

Watched a field for 2 hours late this afternoon with 4 strutters and a jake and a bunch of hens. Watched one of the gobblers breed a hen. Only gobbled three times, even with lots of crow calling and owl hooting going on. One of the gobblers is an absolute stud. We saw where they went to roost so hopefully they will come back the same way tomorrow.

what part of Giles county are you hunting? I have some property near Ardmore in Giles county, but our bird population seems to have declined the last few years. Hope you bag a good one!
