I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. One of the girls in my youth group has a bow. Sort of. It's a Barnett Banshee. She's been complaining she can't hit anything. She brought it over to the house and I wasn't there. My son was and tried to help her.
They're friends and we were over for dinner tonight. We got it out and I shot it a few times. Turned it over to her. It's right handed. She grabbed it left handed. Doing all sorts of things wrong but what jumped out at me was the right handed bow shot left handed.
To top it off a guy at church today stopped me and we were talking and he tells me I have a bow for you. I had planned on giving it to this girl. Now I'm not sure. Do I let her keep shooting like she is or do we look for a LH bow.
And to boot, my step-daughter wants to bow hunt, and she's LH as well....What have I gotten myself in to?
