Again.. this isn't a monster or anything....
I've hunted this same area since I was little, and it's very rare that I've seen a buck over 2.5 years old. Admittedly, I've only got to hunt a couple days a year the last several years... and last year I hunted mostly open fields. I'm glad to know we've got some decent bucks out there. They aren't wall hangers, but certainly better than anything I've been seeing.
I think I'm going to focus harder on hunting the woods this year, especially a thicket and one certain funnel area. I'm betting that's going to be the key to seeing these bigger bucks.
