Glock 20 10mm hunting question

I'm gonna try it this coming year. My questions is what type of ammo should I be looking for ? Grain ? Type? Thanks for all the help

I shoot Underwood 180 xtp's from mine. Several guys on the 24hourcampfire like the Underwood 180 and 200 XTP for deer and hogs.

I loaded some 180gr jhp but never got a chance at a deer. But it amazed me what it did to a coyote

I'd try to find some hard cast heavy for caliber bullets to load for it. If you are limited to factory ammo then use what you can find, especially in this market

I'm partial to a hard cast flat nose bullet with a large meplat such as the grizzly cartridge 200gr WFNGC. However I have also killed several deer using 180gr and 200gr jhp's. Whatever you choose, make sure they are full power 10mm loads. A lot of the factory 10mm loads are not much hotter than the 40 S&W. Check out underwood ammo. They have several full power 10mm loads. And good luck with the Glock 20.
