Go gators!!!

Can't believe that I'm pulling for Big Blue, but I am. I don't really think that UF has much chance in this one. I usually pull for the SEC, but I really like to see Mullen squirm. And, dang, those pesky gators are cocky. I read someone's article that said UF may be the worst top 10 team in history, and I kinda agree.

The consolation bowl. Like to think those salamanders don't stand a chance but, didn't think the nuts would get the job done either.

I didn't realize how many Michigan players were sitting out this game... Dang! I'm really hating this trend. It's pretty widespread. Makes me hate the NFL even more now.

UF has two guys (Polite and Taylor) projected 1st round and Gardner projected 2nd round. All are playing.

The Gators surprised me on this one. Bowl games are funny things (see my previous post in a different thread), but I'll gladly man up and say that I was wrong. Congrats to the Gators and Gator fans. I like the fact that this helps with the SEC bowl records, and was a good win for the SEC over a solid Michigan team. USCe wasn't looking too good against a vulnerable Virginia team last time I checked

I'm still curious how many of these bowl games would turn out if lots of starters didn't sit out while prepping for the NFL

It's about the culture of the program, UF players decided to play.... :D

I like that. UGA is gonna be without their best defensive player after he changed his mind and decided to sit out. At the same time, he was a projected first rounder after last season but surprised many and decided to come back, so he already gave the university a lot more than most would.

Many teams, including LSU, will be without MULTIPLE starters. I HATE that trend, but I also understand.
