"Go to" Jig

I poured, painted and tied these today for my personal use. This is what I guess I would call my "go to" jig. I catch more fish (crappie, white bass, large mouth, spots etc..) on these than any other I make. I have no idea on the weight of the head. It is a mold that was hand made by my late Uncle Joe. The mold is over 50 years old. It is close to 1/8 ounce

Nice looking jigs. I tie some jigs out of squirel tail hair but they are mostly for bream. What did use to paint those heads?
