Been 7 sunrises and most days gobbling were good on roost but very spotty on the ground. Certain days and times of day would get hot but mostly quiet. Maury county every day except one which was Dickson county and it was very hot there till about 930 then turkeys were literally abducted by aliens.

Hardin county. Gobble until about 7am. I've hunted several all days and have not any gobbles past that time. I have heard some spitting and that's the only way I have been able to find any after they get off the roost

I've hunted four mornings so far. Heard one single gobble opening day. Heard two birds the second morning. The bird I killed yesterday gobble a lot on the roost Saturday and on the ground Sunday before I shot him. All in franklin county. I roosted some birds last weekend and had three hammering right before dark.

I'm tagged out. 5 mornings, 2 afternoons, 7 total kills. Best gobbling been in the afternoon for me.

It's been different here in McMinn. 3 days they gobbled their heads off for 2-3 hrs after flydown. Then the next two they gobble once flying down and then get quite.

Hardin Co has been hot for me on the roost and then on the ground til about 730 or 800. I listened to one bird gobble I know at least 100 times before 8 the other morning.

Haywood Co has been horrible for me. Maybe one or 2 gobbles on roost then nothing for rest of day...

I finally heard 2 different gobblers from the house around 8 to 8:30 this morning gobbling. I'm In northeast tn

Rutherford county.

5 hunts, 4 AM, 1 PM.
First 3 AM hunts 0 gobbles. 4th AM hunt (Sunday the 9th) 3 birds gobbling on the roost, then nothing until 7:05 one bird gobbled one time, then poof. Yesterday afternoon, saw a bunch on public land, but no gobbling and couldn't get any in gun range.

Trousdale County

Opening morning heard one gobbler. Last Saturday I heard none. Five years ago it was common to hear 7 or 8 birds every morning.

Hunted 4 days in Sullivan and Johnson. Heard one. Gobbled at 6:42 and pulled the trigger at 12:29. Had a bunch of hens but gobbled good all morning. Hunted 13 hours straight Sunday and not a peep. Low bird numbers tho. Guys I've talked to hunting the farms said they've been blowing the bark off the trees on the roost then quiet after getting with their ladies.

Counting scouting I've heard 2 birds in about 18 days. That's all I heard last year in over 40 days! Use to pull over anywhere and hear at least one or 2. There's still a few around but nothing like it use to be. This is in the mountains and not farmland. Seen bookoos in the fields riding around. How was the acorn crop there? It was mostly a failure from what I've seen but hop a mtn over to the va side and we had a bumper crop. Good acorn crop in the fall has always equaled good turkey hunting in the spring from my experience

Lots of acorns here. My buddy killed a gobbler opening day that was full of hickory nuts.
